Los Angeles, CA (January 13, 2009) — Mickey Rourke, Golden Globe winner for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for his performance in The Wrestler was feted by longtime friend, Niche Media's Jason Binn and Los Angeles Confidential magazine publisher Tova Bonem at an intimate reception last night celebrating his win and the star’s appearance on Los Angeles Confidential magazine's "Awards Issue" cover. The party was held at Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood.

A modest Rourke thanked guests for their support but made a special point of thanking Binn: "I've known Jason Binn for over 15 years, even before he started publishing Ocean Drive magazine in Miami, and I have so much to be thankful for— all of the people who believed in me from the beginning and stepped up for me like Jason, Darren Aronofsky and Bruce Springsteen."

Rourke, who was praised by critics and fans alike for his role as Randy "The Ram" Robinson in The Wrestler, celebrated his win with Los Angeles' A-list talent, power players and tastemakers including Aaron Eckhart, Bai Ling, Brandon Davis, Billy Morrison, Brittny Gastineau, entertainment exec Charlie Walk, David Arquette, Donovan Leitch, Gordon Ramsay, Jason Davis, Kathy & Rick Hilton, Lara Spencer, Linda Thompson, Project Runway's Nick Verreos, Ray Winstone, and Robert Shapiro.

Guests were treated to a bevy of passed hors d'eouvres courtesy of Chef Ramsay's namesake restaurant's contemporary cuisine, including foie gras mousse with black fig purée on toasted fruit bread, braised short rib croquette with sauce gribiche and cornichons and signature sushi like his fried skate wing with persimmon purée.

The event was the second of two back-to-back parties put on by Niche Media's Los Angeles Confidential magazine to celebrate Best Actor nominees; Ralph Fiennes was honored on Saturday, January 10th, continuing Los Angeles Confidential magazine's annual tradition of celebrating the stars of the Golden Globes.
