KATHERINE NICHOLLS
Chief Executive Officer

Katherine Nicholls is the Chief Executive Officer of Niche Media. Niche Media Holdings, LLC is the country's preeminent regional magazine group catering to the luxury market through its distinctive publications. Renowned for reaching and motivating highly affluent consumers, Niche Media publications celebrate the worlds of arts and culture, fashion, real estate, and philanthropy. Under Nicholls' leadership, the publications have been redesigned and repositioned with a more authoritative voice and sophisticated content. This includes regular coverage of subject matters that impact our communities including an ongoing look at climate change and other environmental or social concerns. The company produces 11 city magazines throughout the US, as well as a range of custom publications for distinguished clients such as Art Basel Miami Beach, Maison & Objet Americas, the Mall at Short Hills and Wynn.

Nicholls joined Niche Media in 2007 as Chief Marketing Officer, became Chief Operating Officer in 2009, President in 2010, and was appointed CEO in 2014. With more than 25 years of experience in marketing, sales, and operations for global luxury brands, Nicholls helms the achievement of Niche Media's mission of "connecting, captivating, and celebrating with consciousness". In addition to Niche Media's print publications, the magazines' digital assets and event marketing structure offer clients three distinctive platforms to activate across our cities, and the company's ability to create connections between its partners and affluent, socially dynamic consumers is peerless. Nicholls' leadership has resulted in sustained profitability for the company, and her continual focus on a mission-driven culture and values has elevated Niche Media to the top of its class among today's media organizations. In 2014 Nicholls was honored as a Corporate Visionary and Top Woman in Media by FOLIO for her innovative approaches and accomplishments.

Prior to joining Niche Media, Nicholls spent over 20 years in the luxury wine and spirits business, working for such industry leaders as Diageo PLC, Schieffelin & Somerset (LVMH Moët Hennessy and Diageo), and The Charmer Sunbelt Group, and Corby / Hiram Walker of Canada. Nicholls is married and resides with her husband in New York.

MANDI NORWOOD
Senior Vice President & Editorial Director

Mandi Norwood is the Senior Vice President and Editorial Director of Niche Media, which she joined in April of 2011, following a 25 year award-winning career in magazine publishing on both sides of the Atlantic.

Originally from Manchester in England, Mandi is a newspaper trained journalist and editor, and became the Editor-in-Chief of her first magazine at the age of 25. Since then, she has topped the mastheads of the most successful lifestyle magazines across the world's most prestigious publishing companies, including Emap, Hearst and Conde Nast. She is a fixture among royalty, aristocracy and business-leaders in Who's Who in Media and Who's Who in the World, as well as a top-selling author. Mandi's most recent book, Michelle Style: Celebrating the First Lady of Fashion sold across Europe, Australia, Asia, China and South Africa.

In 2011 Mandi harnessed her extensive editing, leadership and branding experience to lead the editorial and creative teams in the responsibility of Niche Media's magazines. Passionate about quality journalism, beautiful visuals and distinctive graphics, all delivered with wisdom and a wink, Mandi leads a talented editorial team that produces over 70 editions a year, each one a true celebration of the city and audience it serves.

Mandi Norwood is married with two daughters and currently lives in East Hampton and New York City.

Ann Song
Vice President of Fashion and Creative

Ann Song is the Vice President of Fashion and Creative of Niche Media, which she joined in April of 2014. She leads the creative vision for the 11 city-specific magazines and all custom publishing titles. Annís contemporary vision sets the design aesthetic for all fashion editorials and photography layouts while she also works to cultivate the most compelling cover subjects. She directs the design perspective for all products and works on all expansions to new markets.

Ann's experience brings a fresh, bold and modern approach to the magazines each month. Her career has transcended print and digital editorial campaigns to include shaping a brand's DNA and ethos. Early in her career she worked as an Art Director in publishing and fashion while also creating a line of home furnishings and product design. Song has launched publishing companies and served as the Creative Director overseeing whole design as well as individual categories including fashion, mens, interiors, travel and bridal. She is known for her innovative and cutting edge aesthetic and for developing strong brand identities. Her love of art, culture, fashion, home and travel resonates throughout her work.

Song is a graduate of University of Michigan where she studied Art History and Design. She received the Art Directors Club Award for Excellence in Design for her post-graduate work at Pratt Institute. Song has been awarded by Communication Arts and The Lucie Foundation for excellence in design and fashion photography.

JOHN P. KUSHNIR
Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

John P. Kushnir, CPA, joined Niche Media as Chief Financial Officer in October 2007. During his twenty-four year career he has guided businesses in both the public and private sectors, providing them with a strong foundation in business operations, finance and accounting.

Before his tenure with Niche began, John served as Chief Financial Officer of Vendome Group, a private-equity backed business-to-business publishing company based in New York. Prior to that role, he held several positions of increasing responsibility within Primedia, the publicly traded consumer and business publishing Company launched in 1989 by Kohlberg Kravis & Roberts. He started with the Company as Controller for the Business Media Division’s Internet foray, Industryclick. Within one year, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of the Primedia Consumer Media and Magazine Group’s fledgling Internet Division, where he was instrumental in driving the group from a material loss position to profitability within two years; During his tenure in this role the division had the highest growth margins in the organization. He then absorbed additional responsibility as Chief Financial Officer of the Primedia Licensing Group, another growth-engine that accelerated under his oversight. He ultimately landed the role of Chief Financial Officer of the Company’s Consumer Automotive Group, which was anchored by well-known magazine brands including Motortrend and Automobile.

Earlier in his career, over a seven-year period, he served as Controller for start-up companies in the entertainment and technology sectors, gaining invaluable hands-on entrepreneurial experience and “mission-centric” focus critical to achieving success. He launched his career with the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche where he specialized in audits of publishing companies.

John's business path commenced after earning an MBA from Rutgers University. Today he lives in Colts Neck, New Jersey with his wife Rosemarie and their daughters Courtney Nicole and Jenna Rose. In his free time, he and his family are active in several community-based charitable organizations. He is also active in academic and professional alumni associations.

MARIA BLONDEAUX
Chief Operating Officer

Maria Blondeaux oversees all operational activities of the company including technology, manufacturing, printing and distribution and works to create efficiencies across all current and emerging businesses, both domestic and foreign. Blondeaux plays a key role amongst Niche Mediaís 11 regional titles and three custom magazines streamlining production, implementing new systems and several core business operations.

With a career that spans more than twenty years across printing and publishing, Blondeaux has held positions within Niche Media beginning with Production Director and elevated to Vice President of Manufacturing. Her work across various facets of the business includes managing the day-to-day production of weekly, bi-weekly and monthly publications. Blondeaux started her career in publishing at the respected Nevada printing house, Creel Printing.

Blondeaux graduated from California State University - Long Beach, and has lived in Las Vegas with her family since 2000.
